Patti Smith by Judy Linn
Unfussy, candid music photography is major interest of mine (hence Black and White Photos of Folk Singers), so I'm really looking forward to getting my most recent purchase in the mail: Patti Smith 1969-1976 by Judy Linn. The photos I've seen from it are about as perfect as it gets - intimate with a sense of humor and, of course, lots of cozy looking t-shirts and messy hair! I can't imagine Patti Smith not looking incredible in a photograph, but damn, Judy Linn did an excellent job.
