you can never quarantine the past

Eight years ago, I took these photos while visiting loved ones in Hawaii. I decided to revisit them now that I'm heading back, and I've gotta say...sometimes you end up right back where you started! I definitely can't say I love every photo I've taken in the years since I inherited my uncle's Ae-1 and started snappin' - in fact, there's plenty of photos that make me cringe, but I can't seem to hate any of the photos I took in the first couple years with my camera. You can't argue with the charm of youth and inexperience, I guess!
